The Fesh: Defeated

You attend that many corporate trainings and this introduction piece (name, current assignment, hometown, expectations and one unique thing) becomes fairly easy. I have developed my standard answers for those and for the unique thing I usually say:

My passion is traveling...*pause for dramatic purposes*...so far I have visited 36 countries out of my personal target of visiting a 100.

It has always worked for me, usually I get some interesting comments... until today. The trainer, a dude in his early 50ies, looked at me and said: How many countries?

I smiled and said in a confident tone:
THIRTY-six

He replied in a cold tone:
FORTY-EIGHT.

.....I have been defeated in my own game.
*Fesh dies.

My 7-Minute Meditation

As a spin-off of my last post, here's an interesting habit that I developed due to my travels. I can now rate how easy/hard it is to get into a country (i.e. the immigration part). So on a scale of 1 to 10, here goes:

The Swiss (1/10)
They don't even look at my passport, they just look at my residency card and let me go, one of the few countries in the world that doesn't even stamp my passport. Me likey.

The Schiengen States (Germany, France, Italy ..etc) (3/10)
They usually ask one question: How long are you planing to stay? I always like to confuse them by answering: I'm leaving next Thursday. I then pause and watch the officer trying to do some quick math to understand how many days is Thursday from today. It's very entertaining.

The Americans (6/10)
Very detailed, lots of questions: Why are you here, how long, where are you staying...etc. They are however very professional and the whole process takes under 3 minutes. I don't joke there, not after 9-11.

The Polish (9/10)
The mother of them all, basically I live and work there but still anytime I am entering OR exiting Poland I go thru a 10-minute process. This is how it usually goes: after the initial exchange of documents and Good Mornings, the immigration officer would then type in EVERY single detail of my passport and residency card into the Communist-era computer system. Then comes the dreaded 7-minutes of awkward silence, during that time the immigration officer would be mindlessly tapping on the keyboard until the Orwellian Central System would blurp an ACCEPTED or REJECTED on the screen. I haven't seen the screen but I'm assuming they'd go with the cliche big red/green bold letters.

Initially (the first dozen or so times) I was extremely annoyed by this wait, but later I started to appreciate this wait, it started to be my own little time where I meditate. It's as close to an Out of Body experience as I have ever gotten. Every single time I am waiting I am imaging the different scenarios of how I'm gonna go koko on the one immigration officer's ass who's going to make the fatal mistake of stopping me from passing based on a glitch in this crappy Communist-era system. Oh I pity that fool.

99 Cities in 36 Countries

As the end of the Fiscal year approaches, I am restating my balance sheet of countries visited. Previously, I was using a list of all the countries that I got off a website and based on that I had visited 37 countries. Now I found this ultimate Facebook gadget from TripAdviser that uses Google Maps and let's you put little pins on the cities you've visited and then it automatically calculates how many cities/countries. Based on this one, I have 99 cities in 36 countries.

My personal target for countries visited by retirement stays as 100 (amazingly tough, I know :S) but the interesting thing is that I never either counted the cities or had a target for them. Statistically, I've visited 3 cities per country. But practically a lot of those cities are either in the bigger countries I've been to (e.g. US) or Egypt, where 2 years of working with our Distributor network took me to the final frontiers of Egypt. So I have decided to set my target for cities at 200.

This means 64 countries and 101 cities to go, which is 1.8 new countries and 2.9 new cities per year as of this year and till I'm 60...... and yes I have put a lot of thought into this.

My Name

So I have my "special deal" comedy club tickets, right? It's the same night I got booed, in case you're a die hard fan. Turns out those tickets basically make you sit in the first row, or as it later became known to me: The you'll-definitely-be-picked-on-doesn't-mater-how-hard-you-try row.

It all happened so quickly, suddenly the guy started to ask all the people siting in the first row about their names and what they do. He then picked out something and made fun of them. So here I'm sitting there waiting for my turn to be picked on, my mind racing on how not to give him any leads to pick on. This turned out to be harder than I expected:
1. I'm Big (shut up)
2. I'm Arab (...*ahm*....and proud of it?)

So I'm thinking: do I really want to tell him my full first name and add a 3rd reason for him to pick on me? .... too little time, he's approaching .. I panic... and I hear:

What's your name?
*I'm sweating..
ahh... Al...

... So he ignores the fact that I'm big (maybe it's not that noticeable :D) or that I'm Arab (who am I kidding :S) and he exactly knew what I was doing with my name .... damn those telepathic stand up comics, he went on and on on how I was giving a short name because I am thinking if I give my full name, no one will understand anything and the whole club was laughing at me.

You might have won this battle Random Stand Up Comic Guy, but your time will come.

Max Weight: 1000 KG

What's with the obnoxious "Maximum Weight" signs that are in every elevator? And why do they always mention the maximum KGs and then translate this to how many persons? Isn't this in a way the elevator telling me that to be counted as one person here you need to have an average weight of 76.9KG!

And why do we need the maximum number of persons on the sign? Did you ever see 2 people walk into an elevator that usually fits 8 people and the elevator's overweight buzzer went on? Doesn't the buzzer always go on as soon as one last person squeezes into the elevator? So maybe, just maybe that weight and volume are linked somehow? I know it's a crazy idea, but hear me out: if an elevator is designed to take the WEIGHT of 8 people then by the laws of Physics it's more likely to have enough VOLUME for 8 people, right? Because even if you have people who are taking more than their share of weight, they are doing the same to the volume!

That said, I hereby demand that all the evil elevator corporations increase their weight / volume ratio and therefore remove the offensive Max Weight signs from all elevators. Let's however keep the overweight buzzer, it can come in handy if you are transporting your Gold bars in the elevator.

The Missed Call MoU

I think we all have the right to not pick-up our mobile phones whenever we want to and regardless of whomever is calling. This right however is largely neglected, so I propose a Missed Call MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) to be put in place immediately. This can be distributed with new mobile phones if necessary:

The Missed Call MoU
The party that is making the call shall be hereafter referred to as Silencee, The party that is avoiding the call shall be hereafter referred to as the Silencer.

Article I: The Silencer has the right to silence any calls without the prior written or oral consent of the Silencee.
Article II: In the likely event of a silencing, the Silencee is encouraged to accept this gracefully and is instructed to hate the game, but not the player.
Article III: If the Silencee has some urgent information that he needs to pass to the Silencer, instead of continuing to mindlessly call back, the Silencee is instructed to text the Silencer with the information.
Article IV: As a Silencer if you receive urgent information from the Silencee via a text message, it is acceptable that you call the Silencee immediately after receiving the text.
Article V: As a common code of curtsy the Silencee is not supposed to make an reference to the Silencing. Only the Silencer is allowed to bring it up and use a lame excuse of why he couldn't answer, such lame excuses as "I didn't hear the phone" or "I was asleep" are recommended.

Signatures:
1. The Silencer
2. The Silencee

My Bed

After I broke my bed, I decided to do some thinking and build-up my stories, I have two leading stories. I'll share them with you and you tell me which is more believable:

Plot A:
Usually on Friday's I head to the hottest club in town. As I was sitting there enjoying my time with my friend Jack(tm), this Swedish Goddess approaches me and she's like: Wassup? I'm like: Nothin'. After a couple of trials from her side, I finally decide to entertain a conversation with her. Before I could notice it, my charm has overwhelmed her and we were in a taxi to my place. As soon as we get in, we head to my bedroom. There and before things get blurry she mentioned that she was an Olympic Gold medalist..........and that's how I broke my bed.

Plot B:
I am such a nerd, that on Friday nights I spend it Hoovering the bookshelves in my bedroom. Seeing that I am an uberNerd, I have multiple shelves in my bedroom and therefore to Hoover the top one I need to stand up on a chair that is positioned on top of my bed. Having my Hoover on one shoulder and trying to clean the shelve I suddenly lost my balance and *BAM* hit the bed with the Hoover ontop of me. As soon as I hit the bed and after the -literal- dust settled I heard a low creaking noise and *BAM*.... and that's how I broke my bed.

So let's get the voting going, which is more believable?

The B.E.F.

The Brotherhood exists, whether you want to believe it or not. We Brothers roam the world like sleepless zombies, we meet each other all the time. I've sat behind, next to and infornt Brothers before but we never spoke of it. We all silently acknowledged our common belonging. A Brother, if he has the Window seat, will always place his bag and his jacket in the overhead compartment before he asks you to get up. A Grand Master Brother would also get out his Laptop and Book and take them with him to his Window seat. Not only this, a Brother sitting in the Window seat will also acknowledge that he has no right to accessing the overhead compartment during the whole flight, unless you (the Aisle Brother) is in the bathroom.

It's easy to spot a Brother sitting infornt of you, for this Brother will never move the back of his seat, even after the "Fasten your Seat belt"sign has been turned off. It's because he knows that the 2 inches the back of his seat moves will not magically turn his seat into a bed. More importantly he realizes that those 2 inches are the only remaining two inches for you (the Brother sitting behind) to breath.

This is but only a fraction of what we do, for we belong to the Brotherhood of the Economy-class Flyers: BEF.

Dumb Fesh

Recently I watched The Good Shepard and The Departed. I just wonder, why is it a trend now that all the "good" movies, the ones that win all the Emmy's and Oscars have to be really hard to watch? Seriously my brain hurts after watching those movies. First, there's the constant jumping of time: 10 years ago, following scene: present time and then the scene after: 7 years, 4 months and 3 days ago? Really? Could you at least spare us the days? Second, there's the so-many-twists-oh-God-make-it-stop tactic that they all employ now. Where are all the good old movies that had just one twist?

I don't like them movies. They make me feel dumb.

Angry Demons

Whenever you see an exorcism scene, the demon is always angry. This is supposed to scare you, along with the wall-climbing, green vomiting and all of that. I don't know about you but this whole angry thing is losing it's appeal with me. After all, we expect the demon to be angry, right? And the whole scene is very predictable: priest comes in, demon is mad, priest splashes Holy water on the demon, demon goes away. Not scary.

Now, if as soon as the priest walks in, the demon gives him an uncaring look and continues whatever he's doing, you should be worried, because that's one psycho demon you have there. The kind of demon who after the priest commands him to depart, would look the priest in the eye and in his best DeNiro impression would say: You talkin' to me?

....now that's freaken scary.

Facebook's Hypocracy

Did you notice how everyone who knows your name is adding you on Facebook?! Shouldn't there be like a bare minimum of what qualifies as a "friend" is? Like for example:

- A friend is someone who you have met at least 5 times in your life?

Or

- A friend is someone who at some point in your relationship you used to say something apart from "Good morning, how are you doing?"?

Decaffeinated Fesh

It's official I'm off the good stuff for over 3 months now. It's not that I don't drink coffee at all now, off course I enjoy the occasional cup of coffee with a friend. The achievement however, in my humble point of view, is that I cut down my coffee intake from 4-5 cups a day, to 1-2 weekly. Letting go was not easy, I mean Coffee has been an integral part of my University years, when bumming the lab and working of THE ULTIMATE NEMESIS required massive amounts of coffee. And then came work, I must say coffee at work is essential for 5 main reasons:

1. When you come in the morning, you know your corporate laptop will need at least 20 mins to start up, right? Yeah we all know that Big Brother from Computer & Communication department has loaded our laptops with too much spying software. So a morning coffee is not an option, it's needed.
2. Coffee break is the venue for the office gossip: who will get promoted or fired in the upcoming weeks IF NOT DAYS!
3. If you want to catch someone on a short notice (and as usual everyone is busy), there's a 50% chance that proposing to "talk this over coffee?" will work. Sure beats sending a meeting invite that the recipient will not even entertain with a decline.
4. Simply to have "your thing" with your other non-smoking (read: loser) office buddies. YES smokers you heard us, you go outdoors and enjoy your smoke break, damn it we enjoy our coffee breaks too!
5. Finally... *ahm*.....BECAUSE IT TASTES NIIIIIICE AND THE SMELL OH MY GOD WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF... I JUST NEED ONE LAST CUP AND I PROMISE I WI....

*Two guys from the rehabilitation institution come out and restrain the raging Fesh, injecting him with the decaffeination serum to tranquilize him........

It's Funny!

Few weeks ago I was in London and we decided to attend a Comedy show. We went online and picked a comedy club that was offering some special last-minute tickets. The comedians were hilarious, I was suckling on my Guinness like there is no tomorrow..... simply it couldn't have been better. Halfway through the show they announced a "Joke Competition" whereby they'll distribute some paper slips that has the beginning of a joke and we need to complete it. I thought it's a great idea until I got the slip, it read:

What's the difference between Stephen Hawking and an astronaut?

Time was short and I knew I had to ace this one, my whole future as a Stand-Up Comedian depended on that moment. Being the nerd I am, I was actually quit familiar a lot of Professor's Hawking's work which made it much harder to complete the joke. The time was up, so quickly I jotted down:

...an astronaut pees in a tube only in Space.

I was SO excited when my joke was short-listed to the final 5. Now, the presenter read each joke, got the initial reaction from the audience and then asked the author of the joke to identify himself/herself. In the case of my joke, the presenter read it, the whole audience booed it instantly and then I got my slip of paper -literally- thrown in my face! Seriously, this is really what happened!

I think I am one of those amazing minds who are usually like 15 years ahead of their time. Mark my words this joke will be hilarious in the year 2022.

The Iron Curtain is Up

I spent the last 12 months without a shower curtain, I don't know why. When I moved in this apartment, was none and since my bath is one of those none-standard shaped one I couldn't just buy a standard 1.5 meter tube with a curtain. I actually had to look for a mechanism that can be bent by hand so that it could take the curve of the tub I have.

The interesting thing I noticed is that not having a shower curtain introduced some limitations on my showering experience. For instance, forget about showering while not facing the wall, it's basic fluid dynamic: water comes from shower head bounces off you and wets everything in the bath. So for the last 12 months I had to take showers facing the wall............. I don't like this, reminds me of my early years in school...*ahm* ... not the showering part, the facing the wall part I meant.

The months of only-facing-the-wall showers are OVER! for EyE have a shower curtain at last! woho!

Cold Hearted Fesh

Call me cold hearted but I don't buy the whole Animal Rights movement. How can does that compare to other issues like: Global Warming? AIDS? or the fact that a huge percentage of the Earth's population is suffering from malnutrition?

I really don't get the fact that so many people dedicate so much of their spare time to helping out in those organizations, I understand that we are all different and we have different interests, but help me understand how can the interest of your fellow human beings (dieing in Africa because of civil wars) be of a less priority than that of mice dieing in lab tests?

Assuming all abuses to all animals in the world are stopped (thanks to the efforts of all those great organizations out there), how does that help us as humans? Off course we can all feel good about helping some helpless creatures which is a very noble objective in itself, I am just wondering would we rather live in a world where all humans are happy and mice are not, or the other way around.... does that make me cold hearted?

New Record!

I wrote 19 blog posts in April, which is equivalent to the sum all the posts I wrote in the January 07, February 07 and March 07! What is interesting is that April is my best month by a big difference, since in my second best month I only wrote 10 posts.

The sad part however, is that I had 2 weeks of vacation in April.

Prozac for dogs

So, according to a recent BBC news report, dogs too can get depressed. The funny thing however is that they mentioned that the symptoms for Dog Depression include: barking, chewing and/or pacing?! Shouldn't we be looking for more OBVIOUS symptoms, since dogs really can't communicate with us?

Wouldn't it be very handy, specially for us guys, if the dog turns into a bright purple color with green fluorescent dots when it's depressed or needs attention? I mean let's face it, I only service my car when smoke coming out from the engine starts flowing into the cabin. Now they are telling me that my dog might be depressed and the only clue is that it might be barking or chewing differently?!

Oh come on, give us a break here.....

Battle Plans: The Siamese Surge

Ellcian, young and foolish as he is, thought his insult to me will go unpunished. I gathered my generals and ordered them to put in place a full plan to crush his armies. As soon as this plan was ready, I marched my troops and The Battle began.

The Ellcian army controlled all of Australia and most of Asia and my plan was the oldest one in the book: Divide and Conquer. The Divide part was completed as I conquered Siam, thus splitting the Ellcian army into two pockets: the northern army, stationed in Siberia and the southern army, stationed in Australia. I was happy with my progress so far, so I ordered my armies to rest while I planned my next move. As I thought, I saw the Munqian empire expand rapidly mostly on my expense. Seeing this, I decided that in my next campaign I must crush Ellcian and thus put an end to this war.

My reinforcements arrived in Siam and I was ready for my final push. The dilemma was how to split my reinforcements between both the northern and southern armies in order to ensure success on both fronts. I knew that the southern army had a tough mission due to the isolated nature of Australia. I also knew that I had to eliminate the southern Ellcian army in one blow or else Ellcian is going to land some reinforcements by sea and threaten my whole empire. I placed my bet on the southern army and decided to outnumber the southern Ellcian army 2:1 and ordered the rest of my reinforcements to join my northern army stationed in Central Asia.

My southern army was moving at great speed and the push for Australia was on track, my forces flowed into Indonesia and New Guinea with no significant resistant. The landing on Australia however proved to be problematic. Wave after wave of my endless Red Army hit the northern Australian shore with no apparent progress. 3 days passed and finally we manged to secure a beachhead and went ahead to hold Western Australia. What I feared most has actually happened, the Ellcian army had a foothold in Eastern Australia and it was only a mater of time before reinforcements will arrive. My armies couldn't go ahead seeing the significant casualties already suffered to secure Western Australia. Needles to say, I was furious and in the midst of my fury I mobilized my northern army against Ellcian's other strong hold in Siberia. Again I faced the same fierce resistance my southern army suffered from. After several maneuvers I knew that the Ellcian army will survive this campaign. I ordered my armies to surround the remaining Ellcian army and brace for the eminent Munqian offensive.

By end of this battle, I would earn my title: The Great Feshfeshian

The Perfect Shower

I'm a big fan of showers. It's one of the few things I really indulge myself into; others include but are not limited to: Tea with mint, mocking Munqy, a tall Java Cappuccino from Cilantro elShams and off course reminding aku of the BIG mess he made on New Year's eve 2005.

Disaster hit on Friday @ 1900 hours when suddenly all my shower rights were suspended indefinitely. I discovered on Saturday morning that a HUGE water pipe broke and there wasn't a drop of water in all of Heliopolis and Nasr City. Now I don't have any numbers, but if I were to guess, since elCairo has 16 million inhabitants then Heliopolis and Nasr City is something around 15%-25% of that, so that's a good 3-4 million looking for water!

The funny thing is that on Saturday morning @ 0900 hours, my neighborhood went back to the 19th century in an instant. Suddenly everyone was running across the street with huge containers to fill with fresh water from the village fountain.....ah the good old village life. Anyhow I decided not to make this issue cloud MY LAST DAY IN elCairo, so I went ahead had an amazing Sea Food lunch and then took off to Feedz to hang out. By 2200 hours there was still no water, so I got ready and headed to the airport for my 0230 hours flight. Almost 10 hours later I landed in the Springish Frozen Wastelands and I must tell you this 1.5 hours shower I just had now was swwwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttt.

It's better than sex. WAY better.

Grand Risk Master Fesh

What I love about Risk is that each game is everybody's game, and if you play with real pros after the 3rd round everyone is really 2 countries away from his/her mission. Luckily tonight I was playing with Munqy and Lord Chaos who on a scale of 1 to 10, one being a total n00b and ten being someone who is 85% as good as me in Risk, are mostly around 3.

The first game was quick, with the RED ARMY (me) taking over Africa and Australia in the first round while Munqy and Lord Chaos fought over the Americas and Asia, I then mobilized the Red Army and dominated All of Africa, South America, Australia and most of Europe. In the final push for victory I fully took Asia too.

The second game wasn't as easy, my mission was to eliminate the dispersed BLACK ARMY (Lord Chaos). After a lot of maneuvering and gained and lost continents I managed to reduce the Black Army to only two countries and by doing so I had to risk exposing to everyone what my mission was about. Munqy's BLUE ARMY then marched ahead and spoiled my mission by eliminating the black army first, thus changing my mission (since the Black Army was eliminated by another player) to conquer 24 countries. I won the next round. I am uber.

Embarrassing Restaurant Conversations

I usually make an ass of myself. Just recently I remembered how frequently I do this specially in restaurants. The following three conversations actually happened to me, and yes I am not proud of it :S

In a fancy beer garden in Berlin
Me: Can I have a Heineken?
Disgusted waiter: No sir, we offer a fine collection of German beers.
Me: Budweiser?

In a refined Italian restaurant in London after my classic pizza arrived
Me: Can I have some Ketchup?
Disgusted waiter: We don't have Ketchup here.

In a Greek restaurant
Me: Can I have one Kebab pls.
(Kebab is the Turkish name of a meat sandwich)
Disgusted waiter: You mean Gyros?
(Gyros is the Greek name of the same sandwich)
Me: Yes, one Greek Kebab pls.

Behold Da Fesh!

Today das über dudedt almost completed her engineering assignment (yes, designing a scooter apparently is engineering nowadays!) and the kool thing is that she named the scooter after me, DA FESH!

Now you need to realize that is a VERY exciting thing to happen to me and here is why:

1. I am not planning on dying for my country, discovering a cure for AIDS or winning a Nobel, so as it stands my chances of having stuff named after are slim.

2. Now after meeting a hot chick in a bar I can always ask: Would you like to ride DA FESH?

Inferior Terrestrial Beings

I was wikiing few days ago and I came across the Kardashev Scale. In a nut shell, this is a method to classify how technologically advanced a civilization is. This scale defines 3 types:

Type I: a civilization that is able to harness all the power available in a single planet.
Type II: a civilization that is able to harness all the power available in a single solar system.
Type III: a civilization that is able to harness all the power available in a single galaxy.

As per the definition of this scale, we are a Type Zero civilization and we will continue this way till the 23rd century when we are expected to become a Type I civilization (by the year 2200 AD). So let me ask you this: how big of an inferiority complex do we, as humans, suffer, that makes us score a ZERO on a scale of OUR invention, while we are still the ONLY civilization on it so far?!

The Unsociability Wars

The Unsociability Wars has taken a turn for the worse over the last week. The picture embargo is worse than ever. Fresh Facebook invites are arriving daily and the last real hope of a solid resistance was lost when the treacherous Vulk defected to Facebook. I don't blame him fully though, as he was lured by an invite from his cunning fiancee.

To top off, today there was hint from Beco of a full social embargo if I don't surrender unconditionally...

*sigh*

This war has been waging for too long, and I am tired. I sometimes sit back and wonder, what would my life be like if there were no Unsociability Wars? What would it be like if Facebook was not that evil after all? What would it be like if there was to evil conspiracy trying to forcefully make me embrace the Facebookian Doctrine??

Global Koolness

Here's my dilemma to you, had Global Warming been Global Cooling, would we have been more proactive towards it?

I came across this opinion while reading about Global Warming (my favorite topic, second only to History) whereby the author argues that we, as a species, are programmed to be less tolerant of lower temperatures than we are of higher temperatures. He drives this conclusion from the fact that as a species we evolved (yes I'm a fanatic Evolutionist, all you Creationists get out of my blog now) to witness several Ice Ages, not only to witness but to hate them too. According to one study, once Ice Age threw Humans to the brink of extinction when the extreme weather conditions reduced us to less than 2000 humans globally! So, this extreme experience is somehow imprinted in our genes to always think: Cold bad, Warm good.

Try it for yourself, what comes to mind when you think of the equatorial/tropical weather? Hot, moist, rain and/or forests. Compare this to what comes to mind when you think of Polar weather? Ice, Santa, snow, Santa, freezing water, Santa and penguins?

So in a way, we are much kooler about Global Warming than we would have been about Global Cooling, if that makes any sense.

Standards Please

I like things that are standard. Take the Internet for example, everyone using it from Japan to California is following more or less the same set of standards and therefore it's so easy and hassle-free. Why can't the world around us be more like the Internet, for example:

1. Can we pick either the meters/grams/Celsius or feet/pounds/Fahrenheit and stick to it?

2. Can we get working on all of those promised single currencies? 1 or 2 currencies in Asia, 1 in Europe, 2 in the Americas and 2 or 3 in Middle East and Africa? Instead of the mind-blowing 160+ different currencies currently in circulation?

3. Why do the international documents (Passport/ID and Driving license) come in all shapes, sizes and languages? Can we please make them all look the same, with the same fields everywhere?

4. What's with the Western/Eastern/Chinese/Islamic and Hindu calendars? I understand and respect that each culture might want to keep their own calendar for cultural/religious reasons, but can we please pick A calendar and make it THE calendar?

5. Can we please, please, agree if it is Day-Month or Month-Day?

Unsociable Fesh and The Picture Embargo

My battle against Facebook has entered a new phase, now a picture embargo is enforced on me. Since most of the pictures of the parties are now exclusively posted on Facebook, whenever I ask for the pictures I am reminded that maybe I should join Facebook.

The fools think that this embargo will bring me to my knees asking for my Facebook username and password. NEVER! I can only tell them that the underground anti-Facebook movement is alive and working and as a proof I shall release one picture of the many pictures that you hold hostage inside facebook:
Bolhahahahhahahahahahhahaha....Unsociable Fesh PREVAILS!

Will Unsociable Fesh Prevail?

Ever since I openly shared what I think of Facebook and other pathetic social networking sites and the pressure on me is mounting. Today I received yet another invite to Facebook, where I am basically ordered to join. Not to mention that my fellow Facebook-hater: Munqy, has just defected (you bastard).

Today, the defector lured me to join the dark side promising lots of perks and even hinting to some sexual favours. I don't know if I can stand this anymore. I feel that the unsociability that has defined me for so long is facing its gravest test. Will the unsociable Fesh that is EyE prevail? or would I crack under continuous pressure and defect like so many before me?

*Fesh gives a mean look to Munqy

.....only time will tell.
